ABC WEEKEND 2026
The 3rd edition of ABC Weekend opened at LaVue Boutique Hotel with the Empower Through Action Mixer. It was an evening dedicated to strategic alignment for sport development in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We were honoured to hear contributions from Comsport’s proprietor Michael John, ECGC’s Head of Commercial and Innovations Odion Hillocks and GECCU’s Marketing and Communications Manager Danny Lee Francis.
A key highlight of the evening was the presentation of the architectural design for our proposed multipurpose facility by James Campbell (Camative Architectural Designs), a bold step toward building long-term infrastructure for athlete training, education and community engagement. Entertainment for the night was provided by Saeed Bowman, adding a cultural element that complemented the evening’s tone of ambition and unity.
The night also featured the first-ever ABC Weekend Fundraising Raffle Draw, a milestone moment for the organization. The raffle not only generated meaningful support, but established a new annual fundraising tradition rooted in transparency, celebration and community participation.
Saturday’s Champions of Change Community Shield featured a high-level round-robin format showcasing National Senior, Under-20 and Under-17 players, demonstrating the depth of Vincentian football talent. The competition delivered: 6 goals inside the box, 11 goals outside the box, 2 headed goals and 1 penalty. The quality of play reflected both technical discipline and attacking creativity, a testament to the development pipeline we continue to strengthen. Throughout the event, Goal for a Cause was in full effect, with pledges collected in support of the Student-Athlete Support Fund.
All Athletes Inc wrapped up the impactful Weekend with a heartfelt service at HighPoint Church, aptly themed "Bring the Blessings." This moment allowed us to pause in gratitude, giving thanks for progress made, partnerships formed and the opportunity to serve through sport.
